According to recent forecast on Smartphone operating system market share, published by IDC (International Data Corporation); Android operating system will lead the market with 68.3% Smartphone OS market share in 2017.
This forecast covers world’s most popular operating system like Android OS by Google, iOS by Apple, Windows OS, Blackberry and other Smartphone OS. According to IDC, Android and iOS will stay on 1st and 2nd position respectively in 2017. Windows operating system will stay at 3rd position in market share and at number #1 position in % growth (3.9% in 2013 to 10.2% in 2017). According to IDC forecast, Blackberry will keep looking their market share and will stay at 4th position in 2017.
