Brief about IT Arena 2017
With about 2000 attendees IT Arena 2017 became the largest tech event in Ukraine and one of the largest ones in Eastern Europe. The conference brought together not only entrepreneurs and business analysts, but also developers, designers and startups from more than 12 countries.
In 2017, IT Arena consisted of:
- 4 streams – Technology Hands On, Technology Innovations, Product and Business and could boast
- Decent speaker lineup:
- Representatives from some of the world’s most renowned companies: IBM, Philips, Uber, Facebook and Twitter.
Those interested in design had a chance to listen to a fantastic talk by Anton&Irene – two New-York based designers, which can definitely surprise by their bold approaches and unlimited creativity. Esther Dyson, the woman famous for her investments, who also happens to be the most influential woman in IT according to The New York Times shared her experiences in business and wasn’t afraid to talk about failures too. The keynote speaker of Technology stream – Aaron Erickson from ThoughtWorks talked about modern engineering practices, lean enterprise as well as convergence of continuous delivery.
Startup Competition, with 10 startups who made their way to finals, became one of the highlights of IT Arena. Apart from incredible speeches by the world’s leading influencers, the parties at the conference have become a platform for productive networking and deserve a special mention. IT Arena 2016 ended with Futureland Festival – a terrific celebration of music and technologies, headlined by the famous drum&bass DJ – Netsky.
